Score Badminton: A Comprehensive Scoring App for Badminton Matches

Score Badminton is a free lifestyle app developed by Iddo Hoeve for Android devices that helps badminton players to score their matches easily and accurately. The app is packed with features that make scoring a breeze, including clearly displayed scores, automatic flipping of players when they change ends, and the ability to recall the entire score sequence of a match.

Score Badminton also allows users to see the scoring history of each game in a graph, use timers with optional sound and vibration notifications, cast the score on to a TV using Chromecast, and mirror the score on another Android device using Bluetooth. The app supports referee-ing doubles matches and has import/export functionality for previously reffed matches. Other features include the option to share the entire scoring history or a summary of several related matches on social media, send the result of a match by text message or email, and customize the colors of the app to match your club colors.

The WearOS (wearable) version of the app supports the more basic functionality only, but still includes features such as auto-completing player names from your contact list and backing up details of each match you refereed with the app. Permissions required by the app include read contacts, read/write storage, network access, pair with Bluetooth devices, and vibration control.
